VMC® / Homeland Security Programs is offering a services of tabletop exercises as part of the West Virginia Prepares: HRSA Continuing Education Partnership Project. The West Virginia Area Health Education Centers (AHECs) and Community Research Associates, Inc. (CRA) are working with the VMC to plan and facilitate the exercises. Each exercise will offer an opportunity to become better prepared for a biological terrorism incident.

Note: The following questions are intended to provide a brief summary of what will take place at the Tabletop Exercises.

What is the Format of a Tabletop Exercise?
- Participants are presented with a scenario
- Participants discuss their current plans, ..policies, and procedures for response.
- Problems are discussed in groups
- Resolution is summarized by the leader

Who should Participate in the Tabletops?
Hospitals, Public Health, Primary Care Physicians, Social Workers, Schools, Faith Based Groups, Major Employers, Postal Workers, Transportation, Homeless Shelters, Media, Building Supervisors, Local City Officials, and more.

How much does it cost to attend?
The Tabletops are FREE.

What do you need to bring?
All you need to bring to the tabletop exercises is an appetite to learn. However, participants can bring a copy of their agency's plans and
procedures if they would like to refer to them.

Note: Lunch will be provided at no cost.
